Direct heir of a samurai family, Aosaka Senseï learned budo very early by practising Judo. Already second Dan at 17, he discovered Shorinji Kempo and his outstanding skills are noticed by the Founder of this martial art, So Doshin.

Already a fourth Dan at the age of 25, he was chosen by the World Shorinji Kempo Organization (WSKO) in 1972 to develop Shorinji Kempo in Europe. He chose France and started teaching in Rueil-Malmaison.

Aosaka Senseï also introduced Shorinji Kempo to other European countries : Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Switerland and even Finland were astonished by his power and the speed of his strikes as well as his charisma and kindness.
Nowadays, after nearly 30 years of continuous work, Aosaka Senseï is the president of a federation of more than 5.000 members and Shorinji Kempo is gathering more people every day.

Aosaka Senseï is now over fifty years old, his spirit is intact and the classes and seminars he teaches throughout the world still attract and astonish the experts.
